panay nga bilad ko sa araw dito sa southern california lately. malaking pagbabago, kasi nung nasa singapore pa kami eh hindi ako lumalabas kasi sobrang sakit sa balat. isa pang mahirap dalhin ay yung humidity. pawisin kasi ako at isang hakbang ko lang, parang gripo na ang tulo ng pawis ko. pero iba dito kasi dry ang hangin. kahit mainit ay hindi ako masyadang pinagpapawisan. tapos ngayon ay gumaganda na ang panahon – lumalamig na. kanina nga may libreng lunch sa opisina at nag picnic kami sa campus namin. ang sarap ngang kumain sa labas. gustong gusto ko pag umaaraw pero malamig. kahit mag kutis betlog ako’t mag mukhang zebra, ok lang.

gusto ko sa dry kasi hindi nga ako pinagpapawisan; pero ayoko sa dry, kasi hindi ako pinagpapawisan– at dahil walang pawis, yun nga dry na dry ang balat, at lumalala sa winter. nangangati-ngati yung likod ko sa dryness. moisturizers really are a must. at lip balm din–(makiki advise na rin ako) gamit ko ‘vaseline lip therapy’ (dalawang flavors- regular o cherry). i can’t use chapstik at yung may mga menthol, kasi nambabalat yung lips ko dun.
nabasa ko yung entry sa ulan– ganun din ako, na aalala ko kulog at kidlat sa pinas. masarap ulan sa atin e!

wala na ba kayo balak bumalik ng pinas at doon mag settle ulit? kung oo, Kailan? kung matanda na kayo?
eh di wala din kakalinga sa inyo kase mga anak nyo nasa amerika at doon ang roots nila kaya hindi nila ma miss ang pilipinas.. so paano, tiis na lang kayo sa lungkot dyaan sa california at sa hindi magandang panahon? sabagay, malungkot man, nasa tao talaga ang contentment kung hanggang saan sya mag crave.
Basta ako kung ok naman buhay ko sa pinas at above average naman at may matinong tahanan doon na lang ako.
I don’t care kung gaano kagulo ang gov’t. , in general naman yun eh.. important is yung sarili kong buhay na masaya ako na walang na miss na kahit ano at nakikisama at nakikibagay sa mga hindi kalahi at syempre discriminated hanggang tumanda at mamatay.
I am forever be proud to be home kaya malapit na din ako magbalik sa pilipinas at doon gumawa ng buhay… hehehhe…
Just keep a low profile syempre for protection and do whatever i want coz i have enough savings for business and pension plans or inspite of having this, mag work din ang isa sa amin mag asawa para may fixed income pa din 🙂

True di gaanong nagpapawis pag-tag-lamig… Pero yan lagi ang sinisisi ng mga Pinoy dito kapag tumataba sila at nahihirapang mag-diyeta.
Di daw pinapawisan kaya tumataba. Put in another way, the metabolism slows down & doesn’t burn the fat fast enough. TRUE or FALSE?
From my experience, I was able to control my weight gain before my baby. Post-Kelvin, wala na kong paki. Wala ng time to jog. I spend all day @ work, so I spend the rest of the night with my son. Weekends? Housework & more son-time. Though playing with a toddler & running after him does keep me on my toes!

Kahit ano pa maging kutis mo mylab, I don’t care. It’s enough that you seem to be having the time of your life here. It’s enough that you have a clearer idea of what you’re talking about than most people we don’t know… hehe.

buti pa kayo, batjay and jet, maraming px goods na made in the states, at least alam mo orig. dito maraming fake na made in china. at puro rally — rally na lang ng rally! kaya lang naiinis ang mga anak ko na hindi sila nag-aaral sa may mendiola kaya may pasok tuloy sila.
okay magkutis zebra at betlog dahil uso naman yata ang stripes. wag ka lang magkutis buwaya, hindi sasayad ang johnson’s baby powder.

d2 sa singapore maulan lately. medyo malamig pa nga minsan. nkakamiss yung bagyo sa pinas…walang pasok kadalasan…
nde pa ako nakakapuntang US kaya wala ako idea kung ano yan dry na malamig na hangin yan.

miss ko ang ulan ng singapore. gustong gusto ko yung 15 minute malakas na ulan tapos biglang hinto. i love the drainage system of singapore at parati ko itong pinagmamasdan pag umuulan. it appeals to my engineer side. i think it’s the best in the world which is why in spite of the rains, bihira bumaha sa singapore.

hi sha. it’s the same here in southern california. the weather’s been fantastic the past week. it’s cool but sunny. like you, i love the feel of the sun on my skin on a cool day.

OO nga, I just love the weather. It reminds me why we moved to California in the first place. Well this was one of the reasons. You probably know what perspiration and humidity means dahil you went home a couple of months ago. It’s the same in Singapore and this – I love this weather. I love California! I love our life. I also love to eat kaya let’s schedule the next meal.

ngyehehe… halos lahat nga ng goods dito eh made in almost everywhere else except the USA. mostly china, south america and marami ring made in the philippines. iyang fake na made in china, nagsawa kami when jet and i were in beijing. there ‘s a silk street market just off the american embassy that sells all the nice fake goods.
gusto ko ngang maging kutis zebra para unique. it’s also better than having a forked tongue

mahirap din na mag excercise pag malamig at napapalakas ang kain. i hope i don’t get too fat and lazy while we are here. taking care of your son and the home is a good workout.

i remember when i was still doing projects up the mountains of leyte. when it rained, it rained for weeks. ngayon, here we are in the desert. ha!
thanks for the moisturizer and lip balm advice. i am sure that this will be a major issue this winter. i am making the changes already.
