Light travels faster than sound. That is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak

July 25, 2005

simple lang actually – you build things from scratch and make things work. then you take your paycheck, have a beer with your friends and take your wife out shopping.

hm *thoughtful pause* isasali ko po ang ‘engineer’ sa listahan nga what-i-want-to-be-when-i-grow-up. hindi yun gaano ka layo sa no.1 on my list–ang pagiging mekaniko (ito pa naman ang topic ni darkblak sa kanyang blog).

malapit na ang end of the month! and that means–(aside from stipend coming..and stipend going to bills needing to be paid) — malapit na po kayo ni jet magpunta rito!! have a safe trip po!

  2. Paul Says:

There are times I wish I was trained as an engineer instead of as a lawyer.

  3. schatzli Says:

one of my wish when I was young.. but been told there are no girl engineers!

bakit wala sa lista take my friends out shopping.. take me take me

  4. rolly Says:

My only regret is that you missed the EB we had with mrs. hekmi last night.
Di bale, baka makapagbowling pa tayo bago kayo umalis. We have to make the best of the time you’re staying here dahil mukhang mapapatagal na uli ang balik nyo.

  6. hi roselle.

mayroon din namang office politics sa amin. but the nice thing is that when you become part of a project team and start to do some work – all the BS goes away. oo nga pala, alam ni lenin ang tungkol sa ginawa ko. he was once part of the testing phase and we worked on this for a while.

  7. tito rolly,

masama nga ang loob ko nung sunday afternoon. alam ko kasi na hindi na kami makakaabot dahil may trabaho pa ako. hirap talaga pagsabayin ang trabaho at pagsasaya. ngyehehe. i hope you guys had a great time. sana pwede pang magkape before we leave.

    ingat.
    jay

  8. Capt. Kupal Says:

hi sha. you can probably still enroll in an engineering course. when you graduate, you can THEN take yourself shopping. ngyehehe.

  9. Demonyito Says:

ngyehehe… hi paul. i hope the singapore trip went well. sometimes i wish i was a trail lawyer. gusto ko ring mag argue ng case in front of a judge.

  10. Engkantado Says:

    hi sis.

eh di mag mechanical engineer ka when you grow up. ok yon! we’ll be in LA on sunday. one small step, one giant leap for jay and jet. bwahaha!

  11. March One Says:

Ah basta…pinaka-interesting work ko. Nagsusulat ako ng blogs for a Canadian client.Take note, porn blogs!4 na blogs.4 na characters. Isang mahilig sa bj…bundok ng susong dalaga…mariang palad at “creampie.”Hay…nakakapagod din…imagine, it’s like having sex 4 times a day in 5 days!

  12. DarkBlak Says:

uy March One anong url nyan? hehehe 😀

  13. divine Says:

hmn.. parang alam ko ata yan March One. Nway, shifting from HRM to another career is like a big leap. That is why alot of Pinoys wanna explore the world…

  14. Linnor Says:

musta na jay and jet? lapit na… 🙂

  15. Yasminka Says:

    Cool title!

Politics is so tiring, I feel on an everyday discourse because I have to monitor the news. At the end of the day, wala na akong energy.

  16. roselle Says:

yeah nakwento nya saken yun… dami ko alam na kwento hehehe (don’t worry puro wholesome di nya kase nikwekwento yung mga di wholesome… hehehe)and of course, how good you are. i guess you’ve influenced him a lot.

  17. kat Says:

you make it sound so simple…as it should be. we should work to live. not live to work, right?

  18. Paul Says:

You know its neither here nor there for me as I’m not practicing law anyway.

The trip went well, thanks for asking, I tried foods that I’ve never eaten before (I like laksa), mas kabisado ko nang sumakay ng Singaporean buses.

    Hace a safe trip. Ingat!

  19. Toni Says:

A very simple way of putting it. Very nice. You obviously have a passion for the work you’re in. That’s vey admirable!

  20. jio Says:

May balak naman akong pumunta sa Singapore (by the coming months; sana may job offer na…). Ok naman sa Singapore magtrabaho no?

  21. Achilles Says:

Engineers are born to build, certainely we do not destroy, scientists does that.

We are not into politics, we put our name in our work, integrity is synonymous to our design.

We visuilize our plan, we asses each and every aspect. Calculate every gains and loses, therefore measures the efficiency.

For us, if we can conceive, it can be achieved.
